Mind Mask
The tightly packed installations by Brady are his take on the mental health crisis. For most of my life, mental health was something nobody could address. “I saw people suffer in silence, putting on their masks each day to hide their struggles. But you see right through it, no mask, just a struggle to maintain,” says Brady.
Gripped with fear, anxiety, and depression, people are a blink away from falling apart. Through ballpoint pen, pencil, oil, and a host of discarded objects Brady creates his psychological portraits of what he observes and feels.
